Nudge reads the apps on your Mac so it can find what needs you. Here is exactly what happens to what it reads.

What stays on your machine

Everything Nudge captures is stored in an encrypted database on your machine.
Your memory, loops, meeting transcripts and people views are built and kept on your machine.
Meeting audio and dictation are transcribed on your machine.

What is sent, and what happens to it

To find loops, write summaries and rephrase answers, Nudge sends only the text it needs to Nudge's own self-hosted AI model.
That text is processed and deleted right after. We don't store it, and we never use it to train any model.
No third-party AI provider sees your data.

What is never captured

Password fields and sensitive data.
Apps and websites you leave out.
Anything while capture is paused from the menu bar.

Your controls

Choose which apps Nudge reads, and block any website.
Choose which meeting apps Nudge may listen to. It asks before it starts.
Captures delete themselves after 30 days by default, and you can shorten that.
