Private beta · For Mac

The AI follow-up tracker for MacYou said you'dget back to them.

Nudge works quietly across the apps on your Mac. It remembers what matters and brings every open loop into one place: what you owe, what you're owed, and anything that needs you.

Examples of what Nudge catches as you work: requests made of you, promises you made, and what others owe you. A client wants a signed proposal by Thursday, your mother needs a train ticket booked before Tatkal opens, and a friend promised to return money by the 5th. Each one becomes an open loop.

Catching as you work

Works with the apps you already use

  • Slack
  • WhatsApp
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Messages
  • Mail
  • Gmail
  • Calendar
  • Chrome
  • and more

No integrations to connect. Nudge reads the apps you choose, right on your Mac.

A first look

Every loop remembers why it's there.

Who asked, where, and the exact words. Reply, and the loop closes on its own.

A short demo of the Nudge app, with sample data. Priya asks in Slack for a review of PR-182 before end of day. Nudge adds it to your inbox with her exact words. When you reply, the loop closes on its own.

The app, with sample data.

Across every app

It keeps what needs you. The rest stays out.

Nudge reads the apps you choose and picks out every request, promise and deadline. Chatter is left out. An ask and its deadline, sent apart, become one loop.

An example day: messages arrive from Slack, WhatsApp, Teams, Messages, Mail and Gmail. Nudge keeps the ones that need you as loops, like a signed proposal a client needs by Thursday or money a friend promised to return by the 5th, and leaves the chatter out. When an ask and its deadline arrive two messages apart, they become one loop.

How it works

It reads. It remembers. It closes.

  1. 01

    Reads

Nudge reads the apps you choose, from chat and email to documents and browsers, and listens to the meetings you allow. There's nothing to integrate and nothing to set up for each app.

Slack, WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams, Messages, Mail and most other apps on your Mac.

  2. 02

    Remembers

It keeps a private memory of your work and notices what matters: a request, a promise, a deadline, a reply you're still waiting on.

Chatter that isn't meant for you is left out.

  3. 03

    Closes

Reply, send the file or finish the task, and the loop closes by itself. No lists to maintain, no boxes to tick.

Seen the same ask in two apps? It counts once.

Why Nudge

It quotes. It doesn't guess.

  • Every loop carries the exact message it came from, so you can trust it at a glance.
  • Every answer lists its sources. When there isn't enough to go on, Nudge says so.
  • It notices when the work is done, so your list stays true without you tending it.

A to-do list needs you to write the task down. A notetaker only hears meetings. Nudge catches what matters wherever it happens.

Privacy

Your work stays yours.

Nudge is built to see a lot and keep very little.

How Nudge handles your data
Stored on your machine
Everything Nudge captures is kept in an encrypted store on your machine.
Processed, then deleted
To find loops and write summaries, only the text needed is sent to Nudge's own self-hosted AI model, and deleted right after processing.
Never used for training
We don't keep your data, and we never use it to train any model.
Passwords and sensitive data skipped
Password fields and sensitive data are never captured. Pause any time from the menu bar.
You decide what it reads
Leave out any app or website, whenever you like.
Old captures delete themselves
Captures are kept for 30 days by default. You can shorten that.

Your data stays yours. AI processing is temporary.

The basics

What is Nudge?

Nudge is a Mac app that works across the apps you use, keeps a private memory of your work, and brings every open loop into one place: what you owe, what you're owed, and anything that needs your attention. It closes each loop when the work is done.

What is an open loop?

Anything that's still waiting on someone. A request you haven't answered, a promise you made, a reply you're waiting for, or a deadline that's coming up.

Which apps does Nudge work with?

Almost any app on your Mac, including Slack, WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams, Messages, Mail, documents, browsers and meeting apps. It reads through macOS Accessibility, so there are no integrations to set up.

Do I need to set anything up?

No. Install Nudge, choose which apps it can read, and your first open loops show up as you work. There's nothing to configure per app.

Nudge isn't reading one of my apps. What do I do?

Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility, and make sure Nudge is turned on in that list. If it's missing, add it with the + button, then restart Nudge. This is the same permission screen readers use, and it's what lets Nudge read an app's text.

Does it work with my AI tools?

Memory for other AI tools, like Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, is coming soon. It isn't part of the first release.

Privacy and your data

Does my data leave my Mac?

Your captures are stored encrypted on your machine. To find loops and write summaries, only the text needed is sent to Nudge's own self-hosted AI model. It's deleted right after processing, never kept, and never used to train any model.

Does Nudge take screenshots?

No. Nudge reads text through macOS Accessibility, the same system feature that lets screen readers work. It never takes screenshots or records your screen.

What does Nudge never capture?

Password fields and sensitive data, apps and websites you leave out, and anything while capture is paused.

Does Nudge record my meetings?

Only in meeting apps you allow, and it asks before it starts listening. Audio is transcribed on your Mac, and there's no bot in the call.

Can I pause it or delete my data?

Yes. Pause capture any time from the menu bar, and your data is yours to delete whenever you like.

Getting Nudge

How do I get Nudge?

Which Macs does Nudge support?

Macs running macOS 13 Ventura or later.

Is Nudge available for Windows or iPhone?

Not at the moment. Nudge is made for the Mac.

Will it slow down my Mac?

Nudge is built to run quietly in the background while you work. You won't notice it unless you open it.
